Four doors, five seats, a choice of two engines, priced from $22K to $34K and built in Tennessee. The 2017 VW Passat represents a good choice in a family sedan. The Passat was refreshed for 2016 with new sheetmetal, a revised interior and new connectivity and available driver assistance systems. For 2017, driver assistance, connectivity, and convenience features are now offered in lower trims.
